Opt In Email Marketing: 2 Ways To Pull More Profits From Your List

Posted on February 26, 2007. Filed under: Opt in email marketing |

I just want to share 2 quick tips on building a profitable list that you might find helpful.

And get this.

The best part about these 2 tips is that they will only take a few minutes to implement.
Tip#1 You must build a relationship with your subscribers. I love to send my subscribers free gifts. I love to send them information that will help them build their list or grow their business or become a better article writer. This allows my readers to bond with me, to genuinely develop a relationship online with me. They have to believe they can trust me, that whatever I say they can do it and it will work for them, just like I say it will.

Tip #2 You must monetize your list. You must send out offers that require the subscriber to make a payment to receive. If you never send out an offer, your list will become conditioned to not buy from you. The ones that want to buy will unsubscribe. On the other hand, if you send out useful and value-packed offers, the ones who are not serious about their business will unsubscribe from your list – and you don’t need them anyway. You have to find ways to monetize your list – you have to build a relationship first, but eventually the list member must pay up.

That’s all for now.

Hey Keir,

Great tips. Nobody wants a “dead beat” list, that doesn’t do either party any good. You mentioned sending them offers from time to time, this is also a great way to promote your affilliate programs. There are some great programs out there where you are not draining your subscribers pocket books, and you are still making money on the side at the same time.
