Co-Registration…Should You or Shouldn’t You? (part 2)

Posted on March 3, 2007. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Co – Registration.

Should you or shouldn’t you.

Well the true answer to that will depend on your situation.

Here’s why.

Some of the programs out there that offer some form of co – registration are actually pushing stale leads to their buyers and passing them off as current and up to date.

The leads that you’ll be receiving will not be responsive. I’ve also found these leads to have a high opt out rate. Not to mention that sending advertisements to these leads can land you in hot water with some service providers.

Now despite having said that, in my opionion co – registration leads can work for you.

But under certain conditions.

For instance – if you are just starting out online and your advertising funds are low and your thinking of how you can rob peter to pay paul then I would suggest that you hold off on using them until you have enough discretionary income to sustain a campaign.

If however you do have extra income left over after taking care of your day to day responsibilities, then you can give them a try.

If you are new to co -registration then I would suggest that you watch pipeline profits free video’s.

Also keep in mind that if you currently have an autoresponder set up for your mailing list then make sure that you check with your provider about importing leads from your co – registration campaign into your autoresponder because doing so can be grounds for termination of your account witout notice.

The simplest thing to do to avoid running into trouble with your autoresponder service would be to do a co registraton lead campaign with your autoresponder provider.

If your current autoresponder service doesn’t offer co – registration leads then I would suggest that you check out getresponse.

I use them.

And it’s simple to start a campaign, plus I don’t have to worry about spamming my leads because they are all double opt in and they are placed into my account already verified. That means I can immediately begin sending anything that I want to them that’s related to the theme of the list.

You should also keep in mind what I said about your budget.

Getresponse leads aren’t the cheapest, nor are they the most expensive. But they are responsive. And that is what you want.

So in the end…using co – registration leads can work if you have a strategy in mind on how you can afford to pay for them and how you will use them.

That’s all for now.
