Email Marketing: How To Achieve T.O.M.A Using Your Email Messages.

Today we’re going to look at an email that I received that demonstrates how to use T.O.M.A. (Top Of Mind Awareness) and the law of consumption.

If you don’t know what the law of consumption is, then maybe I’ll explain what it says and how you can use it in a later post. Or I might just make it into a report. I haven’t decided on that yet.

Anyway, back to my point.

This is the actual email that I received after I had downloaded their material days earlier.

I found it interesting at how he didn’t rush me to go into his information. As I said, this email came 4 days later.

Also, if you are familiar with copywriting – then you will instantly notice that he used the same theme as the famous american express ad. Or simply put compare and contrast.

I can hear some of you asking, “but what does this have to do with building my list”.

Well, this message is about getting people on your list to consume your products. When you can get them to use your products or services than you increase the chances of them making a purchase later on.

I left the actual product he was promoting out for obvious reasons.

But I want you to notice how he points you back to the product.

Can you do the same with your products?

Have you made this mistake?

One of my clients knew how to build a website, how to
promote it, and how to take orders.

So he bought the resale rights to a best-selling product.
He posted to forums and message boards, and ran some 
free ads.

Guess what happened?

He got his first orders.

Then he repeated these steps and got some orders again,
