I’m Looking Out For You When I Say It’s In Your Best Interest If You Don’t Read This Post

Posted on May 3, 2007. Filed under: Email Marketing, Internet marketing, Opt in email marketing |

I was recently reading a blog post that really got me to thinking about how you can make your opt in list messages more effective.

Because that’s what you really want right?

To have your emails open and read…which then leads to a trust being built and so on and so on…

So how do you do it?

Bear with me, because I’m going to show you how.

Well…actually it’s not me who will be teaching you how to do this…but instead I have a guest writer whom you might know who has decided to loan us his four rules for highly effective writing.

Funny thing is that…

although these rules were originally written for writers..they work just as well online.

Want to know who the guest writer is who decided to reveal his 4 rules for writing?

Introducing The Great Ernest Hemingway.

Yes I know silly billy that he’s no longer with us..but his work lives on.

Here’s Hemingway’s Four Rules of Writing.

Learn them, use them, and profit from them…
1. Use short sentences.
2. Use short first paragraphs.
3. Use vigorous English.
4. Be positive, not negative.

Did you get that?

One of the greatest writers in history boiled his writing style down to those 4 core items.

You can easily apply them to your messages that you send to your opt in list.

How cool is that?

You’re using the tools that the great Hemingway used to sculpt your messages to your readers.

That’s all for now.
