“I Teach, I Teach, I Teach, And I Preach, And Preach, And Preach…But Does Anyone Listen”

“How do you create desire for your products or services”

I was recently asked that question by someone who was looking to sell a new list building home study course.

My reply to him was…

“should you be trying to build desire for your product or should you be offering a product that was already desired by your target market…There’s a big difference you know.”

Golden nugget:

You will have much more success at offering a product or service to people who already want what you have…rather than trying to create the desire for it.

Why?

Because it takes two things in particular to create desire.

1. Time

2. Money

And even then, there are no guarantees.

When you are building your opt in list make sure it revolves around something that people already want…and not what you might want or what you think they might want.

Dont’ really know what your market wants?

I’ll help you with that.

Unless you have deep pockets with money to burn…and a helluva lot of time on your hands..then you can skip this part.

For those of you who don’t have the two things I just mentioned- then the process is simple to find out what your market really wants.

Just look at the leaders in your market.

What are people buying from them already?

Next…what you want to do is improve on it.

It happens all the time in the advertising world.

Plus its a great way to save yourself some money as well.

But is that what most people do?

Nope.

They jump from product to product.

They pitch, pitch, pitch.

Sell, sell, sell…

And wonder why there’s more money going out then money coming in.

But no one really wants to tell you about how to mix with your market.

Or

How to know what they want.

Or

How to identify them.

But I will.

Let me check to see if you still have a pulse.

Do you realize that once you learn the steps to finding out what your market wants…you will never have money troubles again…

Think about it.

You can go into any market…no matter how many leaders there are and find out what the market wants and place it in front of them.

In some of my future posts I will be revealing some of the steps to doing just that.

But not now…there are still things for you to learn.

Remember….you want to be the total packsge..and not some also ran who came and went.

That’s all for now.

Hey Keir,

You are absolutely right. Too many people are out there trying to create a desire for something new, with a big emphasis on the word trying. Market trends are there, go with it, grab something someone already desires and explode it. Let the big money advertisers set new trend and spend their dollars for us, we can just ride the wave.
