Okay..I’ll give it to you in just a second.

But first..the question.

Is there an easy way to get more advertisers to your website?

And as always…my reply was yes…there is always a way to do anything you want.

You just have to be commited to doing it.

Sometimes though..your morals will get in the way of you reaching your goals.

When that happens…only you can decide how you will go forward.

There are hundreds of site that you can submit your articles to..

But many of then don’t jhave any real criteria for the articles that are coming in.

That means your articles will usually sit on their site a receive little to no traffic at all.

That’s a waste of your time and energy.

“The Art Of Salesmanship”

A couple of years ago I was watching an old episode of Seinfeld when I noticed that one of the characters names seemed oddly familiar to me.

I new that I had heard this name before in a book that I had read…but surely that wasn’t the same character.

So I continued watching.

After the show went off I went over to my personal library of books to see if in fact this was the same character that I had just saw on the show.

I flipped to the chapter where I remember reading about him…and there it was…

The same character that was on the show was the same one mentioned in the book.

The book by the way was method marketing by Dennis Hatch.

Now that I had confirmation – I thought…I’ll do a quick search online for him to see if there was any other info that I could dig up.

I was able to find a catalog.

But it didn’t seem like it had anything to really offer.

The clothing wasn’t really to my personal taste..but I figured what the heck..

I’ll see how he pitches them.

After reading a few ads..

I couldn’t believe the mini goldmine that I had just uncovered.

I’m personally not into digging for treasures..but this truly was the find of the century for me.

why?

Because reading his ads was like getting a one on one lesson in the art of salesmanship.

No school could teach you how to write salescopy this well. The old masters that were writing his ads were like that of a dying breed on copywriter.

And here it was..

Me..just some guy who happened to connect a character from a tv show with one mentioned in a marketing book…

Who knew that in so doing I would change my entire writing style from one of being laid back to that of being packed with emotions.

Fast forward to today.

The lessons I learned from the countless days of combing through all of his ads until they sunk into my memory.

The countless days of modeling his work.

It has paid off. I now have a skill that few people can perform well…and I can take it with me wherever I go.

Want to know the name of the character in the Seinfeld show that caused this change.

“Tips For Internet Marketing Beginners And Intermediates”

beginners and intermediates listen up…

If you’re stuck trying to build your online business..and just don’t know where to begin to correct things.

Then I have some really useful information for you.

I recently came across a blog that’s been giving me some tips for generating new streams of traffic.

Now before I write this next sentence..

Let me say this..

I’m no website traffic guru…

But I have a few systems of my own that I use on a regular basis that have been paying off for me.

Take for instance the word system.

It’s my favorite six letter word.

Why?

Because whenever I’m about to take on any venture..I always look for ways to install a system to make things easier.

Now..that’s not to say that you can always automate or create systems for your entire business..

But you’ll usually find that there are repeat actions the occur on a regular basis that you can then “systemize

And I do.

However..there are other times when someone else’s system is more effective…

Or their way of doing things works well with what you’re already doing.

And that’s the case here with this blog.

I don’t know Mike personally…but from what I’ve learned about him and from what other respected people in the online communities have to say about him..he seems like the real deal.

But you can be the judge of that yourself.

“Not Only Did The Detroit Pistons Whip Up On The Chicago Bulls Last Night…They Also Helped Me Uncover One Of The Secrets To Building An Opt In List”

While watching one of the worst games that I’ve seen so far of the season last night between the Bulls and the Detroit Pistons…

I had a point of enlightenment.

The Bulls are pretty much like a lot of opt in list builders out there.

How?

Their coach, Scott Skiles…

–>He knows that they need to have scoring from the post

–>He knows that they need to play good defense

–>He knows that they need to cut down turnovers….

But the big question he has yet to answer…and one that will ultimately seal his fate in the playoffs is this…

How?

How do you get scoring from the post when your players at that position are not born scorers

How do you play good defense against a quick athletic team..when your players are constantly playing one step behind

How do you cut down on turnovers when your players aren’t even on the same page.

It’s the how that is keeping Mr. Skiles up late at night.

Okay you might be wondering what exactly does the Bulls game have to with building your opt in list.

Plenty.

A lot of you know what to do to build an opt in list.

–You know that you need an autoresponder

–You know that you need to have some sort of valuable offer

–You know that you need a website or blog or some sort of landing page for people to go to so they can sign up at.

But you know what’s keeping you from actually having that large opt in list.

It’s the how that’s missing.

–>How do you make an irresistable offer?

–>How do you use your autoresponder as a tool that will bring you future sales?

–>How do you put together the right structure on your website or blog that will attract the most subscribers?

Until you can answer the how..you will just keep spinning your wheels going nowhere.

Question.

Why don’t the so called guru’s out there concentrate on the how?

It’s because of fear.

They fear that if thousands of of people actually knew how to do what they do then their very lively hood would become in question.

How can they continue to make a living when everyone knows what they know how to do.

Competition.

Ladies and Gentlemen….understand that competition in and of itself breeds fear.

As kids our parents and society pounded the thought into our heads that the more rare or scarce something is…the more valuable it becomes…

So if everyone knows how to build large opt in lists then the money available to you grows smaller.

But in actuality..there is no need for fear…

I know that this might be hard to believe…but there’s more than enough money out there for everybody.

Your moment of clarity begins right now.

—Once you know how to create curiosity building subjectlines

—Once you know how to write messages that speak to your markets hot buttons

—Once you how to take an already existing desire and channel it to your product

Then opt in list building becomes much easier.

So the lesson for today is this.

Start looking for the how.

–>How did such and such go from no list at all – to 10,000 subscribers in just under seven months.

–>How did such and such get a 5.7 conversion rate on an email broadcast.

Become curious.

Don’t just settle fot what they did.

Go for the gold.

With the gold being the “how.”

“I Am The Superman Of Opt In List Building”

Ok..so your not to happy with the results that your opt in list messages are getting…now what

Well, a simple solution is to aquire more knowledge of how to write effective emails.

Quick question.

How many email boxes do you currently have?

1…2….hey, I’ll go out on a limb and say..hmmm 4 maybe..

I personally have 7 different accounts.

Why so many?

It’s because I’m a student of marketing.

I pick different categories that I want to learn more about and then I assign that category to an email box.

For insatnce…

Internet marketing will go to box one.

So whenever I see anything related to internet marketing then I only use that address.

And I repeat this process for each and every box.

Next..I pick apart the emails that come in.

Are they placing the offer first

Are they leading off with a story

how long are their messages…

After doing that you will wind up with a huge resource that you can study and learn from.

Then after reading through the messages…I look at how I feel.

Did their message stir up an emotion…and if so..why?

What problem did they promise to solve that’s giving me trouble.

How did they associate the solution to their product or service.

So you see…I’m all about trying to get inside of the head of the person who wrote the message.

Sometimes I’m able to do it rather quickly…

And then somtimes it becomes a work in process.

Now think about this for a moment.

with thousands of email messages right their at your disposal

To read

To learn from

To pick apart for and pull out gold nuggets as I like to call them

How much better could your messages to your own private list become?

How much trust can you build because you’ve become the resident expert in their minds?

Golden nugget:

The trick…if you want to call it that..is to learn from other people who are doing what you want to be successful at.

Grab a few email boxes and begin signing up for ezines and newsletters.

Start noticing the process of how they move you from potential subscriber to subscriber.

From potential buyer to buyer.

Listen their is a lot more to building an pot in list than just offering a freebie to people to get their email address.

Ultimately…you want to become the total package…

Look ma…over there…

It’s a bird…

It’s a plane…

No..it’s opt in list builder…

Able to create results producing email messages…

Able to read the minds of his market…

Able to create a passive income…

“I Spend Less Than One Hundred dollars A Month On Advertising, And My Opt In List Just Doesn’t Seem To Be Growing…What Gives?”

How much money do you spend every month on advertising to get fresh opt ins?

Okay the actual dollar amount isn’t as important as the answer to the question of is your advertising working.

I see it way too often.

The newbie put’s his hard earned money into advertising with the hope of generating a ton of new leads that he can then pitch his products too.

Yawn….

You’d probably have more fun watching two turtles go for the gold in the turtle olympics.

Golden nugget:

Watching your money go right down the drain without anything tangible to show for it creates stress.

See as a newbie…no one ever told you that advertising is just a marketing vehicle used to deliver your message.

The true problem..

The real source of your lack of results comes from a poor marketing strategy.

Golden nugget:

If your message is weak, untargeted, and ineffective…then you can’t blame the messenger.

Coming up with a marketing strategy isn’t easy though.

It takes time and energy.

Which usually is something that most newbies don’t commit to.

However…before you set out to break all the new subscriber records for your niche…

Why not create a strategy for yourself.

Question:

Would an airline pilot try to fly a plane without first having all the details of where he’s going first?

Of course not right?

So then… why on earth would you think that you can build a passive income that will allow you to walk away from your 9 to 5 from your opt in list without a plan?

Sounds silly I know..

But people do it all the time.

Let’s try something here real quick.

What would happen if you could add 20 to 30 new targeted subscribers to your list every day?

Every month your subscribers would ask you if you had any products that were for sale.

Referrals would come in every day from your satisfied readers.

To some that might sound like only a dream.

But for those of you who take the time and effort to put together a marketing strategy…this doesn’t sound like a dream…

No…the “strategy people” are living it.

And I want to take you there as well.

It’s a place where building an opt in list is fun….and not a chore.

My brain is spinning…so me thinks it’s time to go…
