Try Doing This Simple Task Once A Week And Watch Your Ability To Write Attention Grabbing Headlines Soar #196

Posted on July 20, 2007. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Theres a way for you to start writing headlines that stop people dead in their tracks.

And I’m going to reveal it to you right here in this blog post.

However..in case our wondering if this task that I’m going to show you how to do really works..

Then check ou a few of the bullets that I wrote using what your about to learn in the next few minutes.

These bullets were for a headline writing course that someone I knew was selling.

So he asked me to help him move more copies because his current selling methods weren’t working.

If they were on the phone..and they browsed across your headline..then they’d stop immediately to read it.

If they were busy working online..And one of your headlines popped into their email box..they’d read yours first before anyone else’s…even if the other emails are from people they were expecting to hear from.

If you’ve sent them email before and they never opened them..they sure would open them now. They’d have to…This simple quirk in their human nature won’t let them not open it..

Im Back…………..

Posted on April 21, 2007. Filed under: Uncategorized |

After a long layoff…I’m back..bigger and better than ever…

My apologies to my loyal readers for the amount of time that has gone by since my last post.

But I had a string of things happen that didn’t allow me to post to this blog.

I came down with a bad cold that zapped my energy level almost down to zero. I hate having a cold. In fact it had been almost 6 years since my last one. I know that might sound far fetched but it’s true..I really do go out of my way to keep my immune system going strong.

I guess that’s why I was so shocked when it hit me…

Next up was the death of a close friend. That was a really tough one to handle for both his family and me as well.

And finally…there was the problem with my cpu.

Specifically it was a problem with windows xp.

For some reason it just went crazy on me.

I cut it off one day and the next time I went to start it back up…it kept giving me a message that a file was corrupted and to put in a boot disk. I did that and followed the instructions that followed, but the dam thing still wouldn’t work.

So finally I called in my samauri geek.

He is my last line of defense…if he can’t fix a problem I have then I’m toast.

Thankfully he’s undefeated so far. There hasn’t been a problem I had that he and his crew of 3 loyal recruits hasn’t been able to wipe out.

That being said….I will start back to posting some information for you to use here shortly.

Stay tuned.

That’s all for now.

A Quick Update

Posted on March 5, 2007. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Ok..today I want to just talk a little about traffic generation. Specifically seo.

First off…you need to make sure your title description and keywords on your webpage are optimized for the search engines. Next you need to make sure that you include your main keywords in the text of your webpage as well. Not doing so can actually count against you in the eyes of search engines.

Another thing you want to do is make sure that you use words that are closely related and relevant to your main keywords. You’ll need to spread them out on your site.

That’s all for now.

How Can You Use This Simple Philosophy To Build A Huge List

Posted on March 4, 2007. Filed under: Uncategorized |

So your back again.

And you want to now what I meant when I said

“You have to give more give value in order to get more get value”.

Why did I say that?

It’s simple.

When I made that statement I wanted to share with you a philosophy that has served me very well in my list building chores.

Yes, I used this philosophy to go from my regular 9-5 job to online entrepreneur.

Now when I say entrepreneur, I mean that I’ve had success online, but I’m not satisfied. So I continue to keep working until I can have my business run on autopilot. I’m close.

That being said.

I managed to get where I am today by simply giving more value to my readers /subscribers. I give them more “give value” which means that they get more useful and useable content than what they originally had expected.

And in return I “get” more get value from my readers and customers.

Another way of looking at this philosophy is to say that you must give to get.

I know it sounds simple. But believe me when I say it works.

Here’s a treat for you.

Ever wonder what success looks like?

I once did…and if I could put it into words here’s what I’d say.

You must Give greater value to Get greater value.

Want more subscribers?

Give more give value

Want to increase your lists responsiveness?

Give more give value.

Want to build your list fast?

Give more give value.

That’s it.

Why do you think the guru’s are always offering you some sort of high value freebie?

Look guys, people today are busy. Everybody is screaming for your attention. So for you to catch your readers eye you’ve got to show them that they don’t just represent a dollar sign to you.

You’ve got to show them that you care.

Remember that old saying…

It went something like “people don’t care how much you know… until they know how much you care”.

That’s a powerful statement. And not only that, but it’s a perfect mindset to have when building your list.

Give it a try and watch your life change.

=>Watch your list building success change.

=>Watch your whole attitude change.

You’ll be thanking me later for this advice.

That’s all for now.

Co-Registration…Should You or Shouldn’t You? (part 2)

Posted on March 3, 2007. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Co – Registration.

Should you or shouldn’t you.

Well the true answer to that will depend on your situation.

Here’s why.

Some of the programs out there that offer some form of co – registration are actually pushing stale leads to their buyers and passing them off as current and up to date.

The leads that you’ll be receiving will not be responsive. I’ve also found these leads to have a high opt out rate. Not to mention that sending advertisements to these leads can land you in hot water with some service providers.

Now despite having said that, in my opionion co – registration leads can work for you.

But under certain conditions.

For instance – if you are just starting out online and your advertising funds are low and your thinking of how you can rob peter to pay paul then I would suggest that you hold off on using them until you have enough discretionary income to sustain a campaign.

If however you do have extra income left over after taking care of your day to day responsibilities, then you can give them a try.

———-note——–

If you are new to co -registration then I would suggest that you watch pipeline profits free video’s.

———————–

Also keep in mind that if you currently have an autoresponder set up for your mailing list then make sure that you check with your provider about importing leads from your co – registration campaign into your autoresponder because doing so can be grounds for termination of your account witout notice.

The simplest thing to do to avoid running into trouble with your autoresponder service would be to do a co registraton lead campaign with your autoresponder provider.

—–note—–

If your current autoresponder service doesn’t offer co – registration leads then I would suggest that you check out getresponse.

————–

I use them.

And it’s simple to start a campaign, plus I don’t have to worry about spamming my leads because they are all double opt in and they are placed into my account already verified. That means I can immediately begin sending anything that I want to them that’s related to the theme of the list.

You should also keep in mind what I said about your budget.

Getresponse leads aren’t the cheapest, nor are they the most expensive. But they are responsive. And that is what you want.

So in the end…using co – registration leads can work if you have a strategy in mind on how you can afford to pay for them and how you will use them.

That’s all for now.

Could Your Headlines Be Turning Away Potential Subscribers?

Posted on February 27, 2007. Filed under: Uncategorized |

by Keir Smith

http://imttt.blogspot.com

I’ve been studying direct response copy now for over 7 years.

And over those years I’ve learned a few tricks here and there that can improve the rate at which people will sign up to your newsletter or ezine.

Some of these tricks work better than the others.

But one thing that I know for sure is this.

Regardless of whatever might be the newest and hottest way to aquire new subscribers to your list, nothing beats a well crafted headline.

I’ve seen a change in the headline raise new subscriber rates as much as 350% with no other changes made.

-No changes to the body copy

-No changes to the P.S.

-No changes to the call to action

Only a different headline.

Now there’s no way that I can explain headline writing here in this post.

But what I can do is give you a couple of pointers on how you can become a jedi headline master…

Ok..so maybe not a headline master – but I’m sure you can improve on the results that you are getting now.

Here are 7 surefire headline templates that work.

When Opt In List Building Goes Wrong

Posted on February 27, 2007. Filed under: Uncategorized |

I just got through signing up for an e-course that promised to show me how to build content rich websites.

The offer I received was for a free 7 day course that would require nothing more than my email address and my name.

Nothing strange there right? Most programs require some form of information from you.

But here is where the creator of this site really blows it.

After receiving the thank you for subscribing, I’m then redirected to another site where the first lesson of the course is.

Only this time in order to get the lesson, he wants a little more personal information from me.

Click whirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I’m gone.

Now there is an important lesson to be learned here.

And it’s this.

Don’t try to be slick with your customers. If you want your subscribers list to grow, you’ve got to be upfront and honest with people. Tell them upfront what they can expect. Nobody likes to be info-jacked.

————Side note————

(Info-jacked is when someone offers you something in exchange for a little bit of info from you but once you’ve given them that info they’ll hold whatever it is they were offering hostage unless you give them more of your info

———————————

When reading his sites information, there was never any mention of additional info other than the email and name.

And listen, I know all about trying to weed out the freebie seekers from your list, but there is a right and a wrong way to do that.

And my friends, this was definitely the wrong way to do it.

That’s all for now.

Does This Simple Strategy Work Wonders For Anyone Looking To Grow their Subscriber List

Posted on February 22, 2007. Filed under: Uncategorized |

If there was one concept that I would tell you to use when building your opt in list that could make you a lot of money it would be this.

When building your list, you want to operate from the mindset of how can you help your subscriber make money, or solve their problem.

If you just look at your subscribers as dollar signs… then you my friend won’t have a list for long.

I take that back, you’ll still have a list, it just won’t be responsive. And that woud be a real shame.

You have to provide value first.

Or as the old saying goes if you help enough people get what they want then you will be able to get what you want.”

I think that’s how it goes…

Anyway…start practicing this mindset today. Think about how you can help your subscribers move forward. How can you help them get what they want.

And then in do time you will soon get what you want.

I’ve used this strategy to build my list of subscribers. It works.

That’s all for now.
